Anna Paquin was born in Winnipeg and raised in Wellington. She began her acting career as Flora McGrath, the romantic drama film The Piano. The actress played teens in the films of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and played the polexia Aphrodisa girl in Almost Famous (2000).
