Sheryl is a famous American actor, comedian and TV host, and most famous for hosting the renowned daytime chat show The Talk. Sheryl was brought up in Little Rock. Sheryl has an extremely troubled family. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered with the disease of Polio. As a teenager, she experienced a difficult relationship to her maternal grandmother. Sheryl says that at one point her mom cut her father because he got too close. After her graduation from college, Sheryl joined the military. But her passion was comedy. In 1989, she was the first female to make it to the top of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. In 1992 she made her TV debut as a regular on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. The show was hosted by her Oh Drama! in 2000. In 2011, she began hosting as a co-host of the talk show The Talk. Additionally, she's been in fictional roles on shows such as Bulworth Nikki and Beauty Shop.
