Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian, host of a TV show and actor most well-known for her role as host of the popular daytime talk show The Talk. Sheryl was born in Arkansas and grew up at Little Rock, Atwater, and Atwater. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. She spent most part of her childhood taking care of Frankie. Frankie suffered from an illness called polio. She had a lot of problems with her mother as she was growing as a teenager. Sheryl states that one time she cut her father's hair because he got too close. Following her college graduation Sheryl became a military officer. She was interested in comedy. She became the first female winner of the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She started her TV career when she was a frequent performer at The HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She was a guest on Oh Drama! as the host in the year 2000. Seit 2011, she is co-hosting the talk show. In addition, she has a fictional role in popular shows such as Bulworth Nikki, Bulworth or Beauty Shop.
