Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a sixteen year old American who was who was born in Miami Florida. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker. Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychologist. Her father was an Argentine and has Scottish and English ancestry. The mother of her is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four of them were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. They lived in Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria region in London. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was very traumatic. She was not willing to study English and was hoping to return to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she moved from Northlands. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet and act in the school's productions. When she reached the age of sixteen, Taylor-Joy resigned from the school to concentrate on her acting profession. Taylor-Joy always knew she wanted to be an actor. She was given a chance to try it by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered a job as a model.
