Fawn Mckay

Fawn McCay Brodie was birthplace at Ogden Utah September 15, 1915. Reared in the Mormon Church's first family Fawn McKay directed her ingenious literary talents and remarkable researching skills in the creation of an amazing psycho-historical account of Joseph Smith, published in 1945, entitled"No Man knows My History. The title is derived from an 1844 funeral sermon preached by The Church of Latter-Day Saints' founder. Nobody knows my story. I don't know. Fawn an older woman, aged 29 wrote: "Since that moment of truthfulness, three or more writers have picked up the challenge." A lot of them have denigrated him and while others have glorified him. some have even attempted to make a diagnosing him. The problem isn't the fact that these documents lack information, it is rather that they are fiercely contradictory. It is a difficult job to find these records, separating first-hand accounts from the third-hand versions and then combining Mormon accounts with those of non-Mormon people to form a cohesive mosaic. I find it both fascinating as well as eye-opening. FawnBrodie was a dedicated devotee to her job. Thaddeus Steves became a global celebrity as a result of her research and her writing. The DevilDrives. Thomas Jefferson. A personal history of Richard Nixon (1974) as also posthumously Richard Nixon.
